Jessica Dennis is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois and registered as a National Certified Counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors.  She received her Master of Science in Counseling from National Louis University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern Illinois University.  She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology. She has worked with clients in both outpatient, inpatient and virtual settings.  She specializes in the areas of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, adjustment disorders, behavioral issues, domestic violence, couple’s issues, teen issues, parenting and family issues. She employs an eclectic style and uses a blend of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, Psychoeducational and Short-Term Brief Psychotherapy models. In addition to her clinical knowledge, she also acquired 10 years of experience in the area of human resources where she was able to gain great insight regarding the psychology of personnel, health and wellness programs and employee assistance programs.
