“I believe we are a product of our experiences and our genetics. Our experiences, whether positive or negative, have shaped who and what we are today and how we interact in our personal relationships. I believe that we all have the solutions to our difficulties within ourselves, and these solutions can be cultivated and nurtured within the context of a supportive psychotherapeutic relationship. In light of this, my approach is to empower, motivate, challenge, and support my clients through the process of psychotherapy using a combination of psychodynamic, humanistic, family systems, and cognitive behavioral approaches.
I like to assist individuals to understand and challenge long-standing beliefs and patterns of behavior that may interfere with their ability to achieve happiness and fulfillment within themselves and also in their personal relationships. My approach is to facilitate growth and healing through a collaborative approach between myself and my clients.
As a therapist it is my goal to provide you with a confidential, non-judgmental, and professional setting whereby you may privately express your concerns, thoughts and feelings so that you are able to pursue and reach your desired goals.
My treatment approach is specifically tailored to the goals, needs, and personal resources that each individual brings to the therapeutic process. My therapeutic style is active and engaging, incorporating my own sense of humor and spontaneity, while always being sensitive and respectful to the unique personalities and issues that each client brings to the therapeutic relationship. It is always an honor and privilege to be able to assist each of my clients in accomplishing their therapeutic goals”
