Jacqueline Peña is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LSW). Jacqueline attended Aurora University, receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with an addiction specialty and master’s degree specializing in child welfare. Jacqueline has an extensive background in behavioral and mental health settings including: residential, outpatient, intensive outpatient treatment, and individual/family therapy.

Jacqueline has worked with adults, young adults, and children with various approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Client-Centered Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Therapy. She utilizes these approaches to help those suffering from anxiety, depression, ADHD, alcohol/substance abuse, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and life transitions.

“My goal is to make a difference in a person’s life by providing a safe environment, advocating for social justice, actively engaging in my community, helping clients develop and utilize problem-solving techniques and positive coping mechanisms.”

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my blended family and going to the park, getting Starbucks, going on nature walks, and playing board games. I can also be found on the baseball field, coaching!
