I am a provisionally licensed counselor who is passionate about creating a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves. I have experience working with individuals facing substance use concerns, gambling-related challenges, and behavioral addictions, including alcohol, drug, gambling, and sex addiction. I also support clients experiencing depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and other mood-related concerns.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My professional background has provided me with extensive experience supporting individuals affected by substance use and gambling disorders.

My therapeutic approach is flexible and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered Therapy to help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, develop healthier coping skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in the treatment process.

Although I have experience helping clients address gambling-related concerns, I do not currently assist with the process of removal from gambling self-exclusion lists.

Outside of the counseling office, I enjoy spending time with my pet bunny, Kevin, caring for my collection of indoor plants, listening to music, and reading.
