Carolyn Sultz, LSW

Carolyn is a Licensed Social Worker who works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating challenging life circumstances. She is especially passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate the impacts of childhood trauma and emotional neglect, religious trauma, complex relationships, and other life challenges.

Carolyn is dedicated to creating a therapeutic space that is inclusive, LGBTQ+ affirming, and guided by values of equity, fairness and human dignity. She strives to co-create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.

“I work from an eclectic, trauma-informed perspective where your unique story and lived experiences will be honored. You are the expert of your own experience, so we will work collaboratively toward the outcomes that brought you to therapy. My goal is to give you a safe space to explore your inner world, build emotional regulation skills, reconnect with your authentic self, and build tools that will help you live a healthy, joyful life.”

Her extensive experience working with children allows her to meet each child with empathy and attunement. She takes a family-centered approach, supporting parents in understanding and responding to their child’s strong emotions while empowering them toward self-regulation.

Outside of work, she enjoys time with friends, connecting with her young adult children, and playing board games with her husband. She also enjoys hiking, reading, discovering new coffee shops, and all things autumn.
