“No matter what your age, sharing feelings and experiences with someone you don’t know can be scary. I believe that developing the relationship with my clients comes first and, in creating a safe space, they can allow themselves to open up. Once a relationship has been established, I work with the client and their families in creating a treatment plan that can put them on the path towards healing and resilience. I do not utilize a single treatment approach as each client’s experience is unique. Some modalities I draw from are Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existential Therapy, Feminist Therapy, and Client Centered Therapy. I try my best to inject humor into sessions, as many of the topics we cover can be intense.

My goal with every client is to create a space that promotes productive and meaningful change.”

In his free time, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and two pets, his dog, Sylvia, and gecko, KK. He also enjoys building computers, cooking, reading, and seeing live music.
