“I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in helping clients work through Emotional Trauma and improving their overall psychological health. I am a dedicated professional, striving always to be compassionate and creative in my treatment approach. I believe people can successfully overcome challenges and thrive emotionally, if they are provided support and genuine validation from a caring and trusted therapist."

"I have a wide variety of experiences as a military spouse who has lived in West Africa and Europe providing a broad range of social services to others. I earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of Maryland University College, a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and numerous Evidence Based Practice training certifications from The Colorado School for Family Therapy. I have developed a deep, heartfelt compassion for victims of violence, discrimination and other hate crimes, and am dedicated to helping them transform to become the very best version of themselves."

"I am driven by my passion to intently listen and understand my clients, and then help them to cultivate their own imagination by thinking outside the box as they heal and become more confident and self-sufficient individuals."

"I strive to be creative and flexible in my approach in order to generate positive results while working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. My work history includes experience working in a variety of settings: vocational, rehabilitation, outreach, and crisis therapy, inpatient and outpatient care, volunteering at a military Red Cross hospital, and working with victims of violence, homelessness, and poverty. No matter what the setting, it is always my desire to bring acceptance, compassion, and creative solutions to my clients."

"I utilize evidence-based practices and techniques tailored to address the specific age and needs of my clients. Specifically, I like to use Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Strength Based and Family Therapy Model in my practice to help people learn to manage stress and regulate emotions wisely. My approach is genuine, empathetic, nonjudgmental and professional. I value humor, creative thinking, initiative, commitment and positive results. I believe it is important to build trust and respect with all of my clients, while always emphasizing and maintaining confidentiality. My goal is to meet people where they are and work to equip them with life skills and tools that fosters their own strengths and potentials."
